KindTreeKids Summer Camps 2025
“My kids have been going to Anita’s KTK summer camps for more than 6 years now. We base our entire summer schedules around them because they’re our top priority for summer activities. The kids have so much fun, they don’t even realize they’re learning social skills, emotional regulation, and executive functioning skills, but I notice it when they get home and watch how they intentionally think through how they express their feelings and behaviors. This camp has changed my kids for the better and given them functional tools that they’ll use every day for the rest of their lives.”
“As a parent and a psychologist, I have been incredibly impressed with Anita’s programs through KindTree Kids. My two sons (7 & 4) have attended several of her weekend, holiday, and summer programs and they both love them! They have a great time, spend lots of time outdoors, and make connections with other children. What most impresses me is that each of them really grasps and integrates the material they learn at KindTree! Even months later, my sons will use a skill they learned at KindTree to manage an emotion or regulate their attention. KindTree is always my first choice for camp or enrichment because I can count on my kids coming home feeling seen, valued, and equipped with new skills that really stick!”
“I couldn’t say enough about Anita and KindTreeKids. We met Anita when my (now 8yo) had speech trouble at 2. She mentioned that he might also benefit from her social groups and boy was she right! She and her staff uniquely understand why an environment so thoroughly enmeshed with nature and acceptance is the way to introduce “hard” topics. My 2 boys now go every season because they look forward to it and don’t even realize what a deep impression is being made. The focus on empathy has become second nature and I attribute that to our KindTree experience. We will keep coming back until they kick us out!”
KindTreeKids is excited to offer a new summer camp and several weeks of summer camp fun in 2025!
Welcome to KindTreeKids Summer Camps 2025!
At KindTreeKids, we work hard to empower your children with life skills to face life's many challenges. Children aren’t born with the abilities that we, as parents and adults, have gained through experience. When we meet a child where they are, they feel safe and validated. When we feel safe, our brains can learn. From here, we can equip them with the supportive tools, resources, and coping strategies so they feel empowered and confident to face things that feel too big or too hard.
Every KindTreeKid camp/program provides:
Opportunities for play and social language development
Facilitated group and collaborative activities that are embedded in executive functioning.
Outdoor classrooms with sensory and movement-rich opportunities are offered throughout the day.
Play-based, self-directed opportunities where the children can be a part of the plan for ways to explore and create.
A safe space to build trust with our bodies and new experiences.
Encouragement for your child to be curious and creative.
Practice opportunities for different ways to engage, play, and problem-solve.
Safely supported navigation of big emotions/feelings.
The Summer of 2025 has so much more fun to offer this year!
*Please note that this year, we will still have our (2024) versions of Spot of Summer and Empower Me! Curriculum for 2025 camps. We are also very excited to offer two new camps (Tiny Hikers and Little Ninja KindTreeKids). Come join us for a summer of learning through play! Check out all the great offerings we have for you this year!
Spot of Summer Camp - Connecting the Spots 2024 Curriculum

June 16th-20th, 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
$325 per child. A minimum of 6 children with 2+ guides. Sibling rates available.
**THIS IS THE SAME CURRICULUM AS SPOT OF SUMMER 2024 (so if your child participated in this camp last summer, it will be mostly the same material. Again, repetition IS learning, and it’s been a year, but we wanted you and your child to know this beforehand! We will be alternating new curriculum every other year moving forward so 2026 will be all new! This gives other children opportunities to enjoy our camps since they fill up so fast and have long waiting lists (which we are super grateful for!)
We will be CONNECTING the SPOTs as we discover ways to understand our bodies/brains, calm our worries, make choices that serve us and others, build empathy, and believe in ourselves. Join us for this exciting week as we explore Diane Alber's "Spot Of..." books to guide us through the week as we build, create, and connect the spots, building strong brains and kind hearts. Each day will offer open-ended and collaborative play opportunities, hands-on activities/games that integrate the concepts and teachings, and group meetings (small and large) to discuss and unpack topics together. We have boundless play opportunities as well as a walk to our neighborhood creek each day for some nature exploration and play (weather permitting).
***OUR LAST DAY WILL BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION (drop off and pick up)***
**Our final day will take place fully outdoors at Friendship Forest Wildlife Sanctuary (4380 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Clarkston) where we will hike, explore, and have water/creek play (weather permitting).

One of our most unique camps is the Executive Functioning in Nature Summer Camp! Please note that these two weeks will be offering the same activities. Many children who are big fans still do both, but it’s important to know that there may be duplicated activities if they do! Just remember, repetition is learning, so it can’t hurt!
Connecting our bodies and brains in nature is one of the best ways for kids to be able to get calm and regulated. When we are regulated, our focus muscles start to flex, and once we are in a space where learning can occur, it aligns with application opportunities. Curiosity, exploration, play, and learning co-exist in these special camp weeks in the woods!
TINY KINDTREEKIDS (aka TINYS!): SOCIAL SUMMER PLAY CAMP
Ages 3-5/rising k
Two weeks to choose from:
May 27th-30th, 9:30am – 1:30 pm (4-day camp)
July 14th-18th, 9:30am – 1:30 pm
$300 per child. Minimum of 8 children with 2+ guides. Sibling rates available.
This sweet little camp is always so fun as we create a space where your Tinys can get a taste of social engagement opportunities to build play and early social skills. This sensory-rich, play-based camp is open to all language and skill levels and will be led by 2+ adults indoors/outdoors (but mostly outdoors) for practice with greetings, responding to questions, cooperative play, turn-taking, sharing space/objects with others, early emotional awareness/language skills, and problem-solving/repairing with our friends when we get stuck (but no forced sharing or apologies!).
Each day we also take a walk to our neighborhood creek for more sensory and nature exploration time. This has been such a great experience that offers a space for children to try to build confidence, independence, and social problem-solving (because you know, everyone wants that one sparkly shovel and bucket!!). Your Tiny KindTreeKid will practice making deeper connections building these early socio-emotional skills that allow for strong brains and kind hearts!
NEW!! TINY Hikers

We started toying around with taking the Tiny KindTreeKids on a hike during our Tiny KindTreeKids monthly program, and we realized it was a BIG hit! Therefore, we are attempting our very first TINY HIKERS SUMMER CAMP. Each day, we will arrive at a different local park location, and then these tiny humans will take on a big adventure exploring and playing in the woods….where kids need to be! Each day will have easy (with resting breaks) hiking, yoga/mindfulness activities, and creek/water (wading only) play. We promise easy bed times all week! :)
EMPOWER ME! SUMMER CAMP- 2024 Curriculum

**THIS IS THE SAME CURRICULUM AS EMPOWER ME! 2024 (so if your child participated in this camp last summer, it will be mostly the same material. Again, repetition IS learning, and it’s been a year, but we wanted you and your child to know this beforehand! Moving forward, we will be alternating new curriculum every other year, so 2026 will be all new! This gives other children opportunities to enjoy our camps since they fill up so fast and have long waiting lists (which we are super grateful for!)
Empower Me! Summer Camp is one of our favorite summer camps! Think of it as a week of diving deep into a topic-a-day curriculum that empowers a child with self-awareness, emotional regulation, and social-emotional thinking tools that can support all children in all settings. Each day will include breathing techniques, basic mindfulness concepts, yoga/movement, hands-on activities, small-group discussion, and plenty of child-led play, offering opportunities to use and practice these tools related to the concept of the day. Each day, your child's activities will be working to add to their toolbox, filled with a variety of strategies and tools. At the end of the week, they will not only have practiced the understanding of when, why, and how to use these tools, but they get to take this home with them for any time use and easy access as their reminder to use when things start to feel too big or too heavy. We believe in creating opportunities for a child to be empowered, to feel confident, and to be successful in social thinking and emotional regulation.
Since our overarching theme this year is CONNECTIONS, Empower Me! Campers will fill their week with fun and learning as we unpack how the connections in our body + brain impact the connections with our friends, family, and ourselves. Join us this summer as we connect our strong brains and kind hearts!
The neighborhood offers more outdoor-based explorations as we will walk down the street each day for creek and playground play.
***OUR LAST DAY WILL BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION (drop off and pick up)***
Our final day will take place fully outdoors at Friendship Forest Wildlife Sanctuary (4380 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Clarkston) where we will hike, explore, and have water/creek play (weather permitting).

Our newest KindTreeKids camp is going to be “kicking” as we explore Self-/Emotional Management, Self-/Social Awareness, and Growth Mindset. Using the Little Ninja Life Hacks (Self-Awareness and Self-Management) book sets. Each day, we will dig deep into a different topic to learn (and practice) about tools that help us figure out sticky and hard things ourselves! We will help your children gain the skills and mindsets to develop healthy identities, manage feelings and achieve goals, practice empathy, maintain relationships, and make responsible, caring decisions.
Each day will offer open-ended and collaborative play opportunities, hands-on activities/games that integrate the concepts and teachings, and group meetings (small and large) to discuss and unpack topics together.
